Places to Visit

Concordia

The municipality of Concordia is located in the south of Sinaloa. It was founded on January 20, 1565 by the Spanish captain, Francisco Ibarra. Concordia is famous for the elegant furniture built there since colonial times.

The center of the city is adorned by the beautiful church of San Sebastian, built during the 18th century. Its baroque style façade is made of intricately worked red Quarry. Another great attraction is the Municipal Palace, built between 1905 and 1910 when the Mexican Revolution exploded.

The upper part of the main façade holds an Italian bell clock. Copala is located 20 kms away along federal road #40. Copala was once an important source of gold and silver. This area offers breathtaking, green landscapes. Founded in 1565, this small population maintains its colonial charm. Their Church of San Jose dates back to the 18th century.
